I spent a lovely day at the Woolpatch Gallery in Long Melford on Monday doing a class on machine embroidery and using a soldering iron to burn back layers of fabric. The tutor was Alex Waylett and it was very inspiring. My piece is still a work in progress and I will post a
picture later as it takes shape.
