Painting and stitching

Spent another lovely day with Alex Waylett. We painted, stitched stamped, embossed and enjoyed ourselves. Everyone in the class achieved much more than most of us though was possible and couldn't wait to sign up for the next class with Alex.

Quilting holidays.

This is Karin showing the ladies on her arena travel weekend some of my quilts, she took them to her house for a 'Quilt turning' I had not heard of this before but it seems an interesting way of showing quilts.
the ladies visited Norwich Woodbridge Snape and of course they came to Quilters Haven to make some essential purchases!!

Polka Dot Girls.

I really love the Red brolly patterns by Bronwyn Hayes so I have just started on the Polka Dot Girls quilt. I have sorted out all the fabrics I will be using and picked out Cosmo threads to go with the fabrics. This is a first for me I am using all fabrics from my stash .......
