Fernhill Button club.

I can't wait for the Fernhill button club to arrive from what I can see of the pictures it looks really wonderful. This is the first one of Lynette's button clubs I have done and I am wondering how I missed the others.............

Festival of Quilts

I know it is quite a long time until the Festival of Quilts in August but I booked the minibus so that is certainly something to look forward to. We always have such a great time.

Fernhill Button Club

When I saw Lynette's Fernhill Button club I had to sign up because it looks so lovely.  As soon as it went on the web site at Quilters Haven the bookings were coming in thick and fast so I knew I had to get in there quickly.  I can't wait for the first month.

My Quilts on display

I have been asked to display my quilts in the church on our local village fete day.
It is Saturday afternoon 7th July at St Mary's Church Bramford. I am hoping that a few of my quilting friends might call in to swell the numbers..........

My Dolls House Quilt Shop

OK so I am still a big kid at heart but I have always wanted a dolls house so a few years ago I treated myself.  It seemed quite a good idea with my interest in quilting to turn it into a quilt shop - it still has a long way to go but goodness have I had some fun making all those tiny bolts of fabric.  I had no idea it was such a big hobby with people - I have visited one or two of the dolls house fairs and it truly is amazing what people\ are able to make in such small sizes.

Another new project

I have started on a new project (no suprise there I hear you say).  This is the very lovely In Full Bloom block of the month from Lynette Anderson.
You may have seen if you look at the Quilters Haven Facebook page that when I was cutting these at work I cut 60 instead of the planned 30 OOOOOOOOPs so I really felt I ought to make one myself truth to tell it is so nice I had planned to do it already.
You will be pleased to hear it is selling really well so I may not get the sack after all!!!!!!!!

My lovely Cassie

Last week was very sad for me as my lovely Cassie passed away.  It was a big shock and as all you cat lovers will know the house now seems very empty without her.  I find myself looking for her in all her favourite places.  I would give a lot to hear her purr again.
