I have just spent a lovely afternoon teaching ten very nice ladies on a stitchery class at Quilters Haven.

Funny Signs.......

When we are out walking we come across lots of funny signs such as BULL IN FIELD and all we come across are a few skippy lambs or a very docile old horse, we have come to the conclusion this is often a ploy to put people of a nervous disposition off using footpaths. This morning while walking we came across the sign below but it was not Heathrow they were very small aircraft and we did look both ways.........

Fernhill Button Club

Here is my first block of Fernhill finished and I am really pleased with it. Before somebody notices I have not added the final solid row of stitching - not sure how I feel about it so it could be added at a later date!! I can't wait for blocks number two to arrive.....

I am hoping to have one of these lovely babies by the end of the summer, not to replace my lovely Cassie but because our house is very lonely without a pussycat to love. Thing is however will I get to choose and will I be able to stop at one....
