Maisie is on the property ladder.

My cat Maisie is the first cat I have had who is not really that brave about going outside and although she seems perfectly happy indoors I feel she should have fresh air on nice sunny days, so I asked Scott at Riverside Hutches to make her a walk in cattery. The cattery has duly been installed in the garden and now all Maisie wants is a sunny day so she can explore the little ladders and sit in the sun.

Visit to The cheap Shop

Yesterday I paid a visit to The Cheap Shop at Tiptree, mainly because I wanted to stock up on some silk and sparkly fabric to make some more of the cards I made on Alexandra Wayletts class at Quilters Haven last Saturday.
It is a wonderful shop like and Aladdins cave if you ever get the chance do pay a visit. I think it would be impossible not to find everything you needed in this shop.......

visit to Duxford

I spent a lovely day at the Spring Quilt show at Duxford. I found some lovely patterns for cute toys and this little pile of sparkly fabrics which I am hoping to use on Alexandra Wayletts card class next weekend at Quilters Haven.

What a lovely gift.

I received a beautiful gift today from Nicola and Alice Foreman. A bag made by Nicola in my favourite Lecien fabric. Thank you both so very much.

Knitted necklace.

My friend Karen owns a lovely wool shop called Twist in Woodbridge, when I called in to see her yesterday I couldn't resist buying some of this pretty wool to make a knitted necklace.

Remember When

I have just received all the way from Australia the patterns for Libby Richardsons BOM REMEMBER WHEN, as you can see from the picture the fabrics used look like Leciens.
I adore Lecien fabrics so I sorted through my stash and found almost enough (had to buy just a couple more). I can't wait to get started..............
