Quilts in the church

My quilts were on display again this year at our village fun day. Despite the weather lots of people came and popped in to the church to look at my quilts and textile pictures.

Texture magic

recently spent a day doing Mary Mcintosh's texture adventure class, it was a lovely day and I made my first piece on the class and this was my second attempt. I am really in to this kind of work at the moment.

Suffolk hedgerow

I have finished the Suffolk hedgerow picture that I started on the class at the cosy cabin on Saturday. Next time I am doing a Monet garden. I am really looking forward to it...

Snowdrop weekend at Thorpe Morieux church.

The snowdrops and aconites look really beautiful in Thorpe Morieux churchyard. I found this little church when tracing my ancestors it is really pretty and yes I found ancestors just inside the church gate it's not usually as easy as that!

spring has arrived!!

We went to the winter gardens at Anglesey Abbey and they were so beautiful it really made me think spring was here despite the awful weather we have been having lately.

A lovely book

I bought this book a few days ago and it has turned out to be one of the best books I have bought for ages. Projects are described in great detail and the photographs are really good.

Playing with new ideas

I am really enjoying playing with new ideas painting, burning and I really love making tyvek beads. I think this may be second childhood........
